I wake up every morning to the sight of a surfboard leaning against the bland white walls of my bedroom. It doesn’t belong to me. I don’t think I’ve even touched it more than twice. I’ve never seen it leave the apartment before. It currently belongs to my bedroom, I suppose. But I’d love to see it out in the ocean where it belongs. Standing proudly in the sandy beaches of the Pacific. Maybe one day.Â
